Accessibility

We want every teacher and family to be able to use our site and lessons. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we've done

• A typeface designed for readability (Atkinson Hyperlegible) and strong colour contrast.
• Every page works with a keyboard and has a "skip to content" link.
• Pages are structured with real headings, labels and landmarks for screen readers.
• Animation is turned off if your device asks for reduced motion.
• Lessons print cleanly for anyone who prefers paper.

What we're still working on

• Captions and transcripts for lesson videos, as videos are added.
• French versions of every lesson, from 2027.
• Accessible versions of every printable student sheet.
