Learn the pattern once. Teach every lesson.
Every lesson follows the same five beats, so your class knows what's coming and you aren't decoding a new plan each week.
- 1
Mission 5 min
Read a short story that ends in a question. Your class is the team hired to answer it. Teams of three get a mission card and three jobs that rotate.
- 2
Bet 5–10 min
Every student predicts what will happen and writes one reason why. A bet gives kids a stake in the result, and it is what scientists do before an experiment.
- 3
Hunt 20 min
Hands-on, with everyday materials. Every team does the same thing the same way, so the results can be compared. One fair-test moment in every lesson.
- 4
Reveal 10–15 min
Pool the results on the board, compare them with the bets and explain what happened. Each lesson lists the mix-ups to listen for.
- 5
Act 10 min
Students use what they found: a note to someone, a design, a recommendation. Finish with a one-minute exit ticket.
