Ask your school to cover it
Teachers in the US spent an average of US$895 of their own money on their classrooms in 2024–25 (AdoptAClassroom.org survey). A school or PTA budget is the better place for this.
We’ve written the request for you. It opens in your email with the price, what’s included, a link to the sample lesson and how the school can pay. Add your principal’s address and send it.
Copied. Paste it into an email or your school’s purchase request form.
What the school can use
- A quote in your currency
- Purchase orders accepted
- Invoices from Fieldbook Learning
- Or pay by card and claim the receipt
Questions about buying
What does it cost after the free lessons?
A single unit is US$19 and is yours to keep. All-access, every lesson in the library for a year, is US$199 per teacher. A school licence is US$899 a year for up to 40 teachers at one school.
What exactly is in the library today?
A growing set of complete units, mostly science. Most of today’s units are for Kindergarten to Grade 8, and high school units are being added. The lessons page lets you search and filter every lesson by grade and subject, so you can see exactly what you’re buying. New units are added through the year and all-access includes them.
What's in a unit?
Every lesson on one topic, each with a teacher guide, student sheet, assessment rubric and materials list. Buy it once and it's yours to keep.
What's in all-access?
Every lesson in the library for a year, including new units we add during that year.
Does it renew automatically?
Annual plans renew once a year so your access doesn’t lapse mid-unit. You can turn renewal off any time from your account, and access lasts to the end of the year you paid for. A single unit is a one-time purchase and never renews.
Do you charge in Canadian or US dollars?
All prices are in US dollars, wherever you are. Your card company converts the amount to your own currency. Applicable sales tax is shown at checkout or on your invoice.
What if it isn’t right for my class?
Email us within 14 days of buying all-access or a school licence and we refund you in full. Start with the free lessons and you’ll know before you pay anything.
Can I get a receipt to claim back from my school?
Yes. Teachers who buy all-access or a unit themselves get a receipt they can submit for reimbursement.
Can I share the PDFs?
Print and copy them for your own students as often as you like. Please don’t post them online or pass them to other teachers; a school licence covers up to 40 teachers at your school.
How does the school licence work?
The person who buys it adds up to 40 teachers by email from their account and can change the list any time. Each teacher signs in with that email and gets every lesson. Bigger school? Ask us.
Can my school pay by purchase order?
Yes. We send quotes and invoices in Canadian or US dollars and accept purchase orders, so your office can pay the usual way.
Do you have district pricing?
Yes. Districts and groups of schools are priced per school, lower as you add schools. Tell us how many schools and we'll send a quote.
