Line plot
A graph that shows data on a number line, with an X above the number for each data point.
A line plot is useful for measurements and small data sets. Taller stacks of Xs show the values that came up most often.
Example: Pencil lengths of 4, 5, 5, 6 and 5 inches give three Xs above 5 and one X above each of 4 and 6.
