Pollination

The moving of pollen from one part of a flower to another so that seeds can form.

Pollen is carried by insects, wind, birds or other animals. Pollination is needed before many plants can make fruit and seeds.

Example: A bee collects nectar and carries pollen from one flower to the next, pollinating them.
