Who we are
Fieldbook Learning is a K–12 curriculum publisher operated by ZalaStack Inc., a Canadian corporation based in Calgary, Alberta. We publish hands-on science and math lessons, printable unit workbooks and classroom kits for schools, districts, international schools and home educators in Canada, the United States and beyond.
What we provide

Curriculum alignment
Every unit lists the outcomes it teaches for the Next Generation Science Standards and the Common Core; the science and mathematics curricula of every Canadian province and territory; Texas (TEKS), Florida and Virginia standards; and AERO for American international schools. We map units to Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary objectives, and units work as ready-made inquiries in IB PYP programmes. See the curriculum alignment pages.
What sets us apart
- No student data, nothing to install. Approval needs no IT integration or privacy impact assessment for students.
- Written to one published standard. Every lesson follows the same format and is checked for safety, accuracy and curriculum fit before release.
- Honest science. Each lesson states what usually happens and what an experiment can and can't show.
- Low materials cost: under $30 a class for a lesson's materials.
