Point of view
Who is telling the story? "I" means first person; "he", "she" or "they" means a narrator outside the story.
Example (The Science Fair Switch, Grade 5)
From whose point of view is the story told?
Answer: a narrator who follows Priya's thoughts. The story uses "she" and tells what Priya notices and thinks: third person, focused on Priya.
