Grade 2 forces and motion

Pushes and pulls, simple machines, magnets and building strong structures. Here is what we have for Grade 2.

Lessons

Build It, Launch It

Egg drops, paper planes and balloon rockets, done properly at home. Three engineering challenges where kids build, test, fix and explain the pushes and pulls behind what happened.

Online practice

Friction slows motion
Push strength
Magnets and motion
Read a motion table
Pull and move up
Slow it down
