Evaporation
When a liquid turns into a gas, such as water into water vapor.
Heat makes water evaporate faster. Evaporation is one step in the water cycle, and it leaves salt and other dissolved solids behind.
Example: A puddle disappears on a sunny day as its water evaporates into the air.
