Tell time to the hour and half hour
The short hand shows the hour; the long hand at 6 means half past.

Answer: 1:00
On a clock, the minute hand points to 12 and the hour hand points to 4. What time is it?
Answer: 4:00
On a clock, the minute hand points to 6 and the hour hand is halfway between 6 and 7. What time is it?
Answer: 6:30
