Tell time to the nearest five minutes
Each number on the clock is five minutes for the long hand.

On a clock, the minute hand points to 12 and the hour hand points to 10. What time is it?
Answer: 10:00
On a clock, the minute hand points to 9 and the hour hand is between 7 and 8. What time is it?
Answer: 7:45
On a clock, the minute hand points to 5 and the hour hand is between 2 and 3. What time is it?
Answer: 2:25
