Find the missing side of a rectangle
Divide the area by the side you know.

A rectangular poster has an area of 49 square decimetres. It is 7 dm long. How wide is it?
Answer: 7 dm
A rectangular garden is 10 m long and 12 m wide. What is its area?
Answer: 120 square metres
A rectangular patio has an area of 18 square metres. It is 3 m long. How wide is it?
Answer: 6 m
