Survival Clues: Fossils, Groups and Changing Habitats Grade 3
- What happens when a habitat changes? 45–60 min
Teams rotate through four case files (a pond that dries up, a forest cut down, cane toads arriving in Australia and a river that is dammed) and sort who survives, who moves and who dies. Then they judge solutions for a new highway through a forest, using evidence from wildlife bridges in Canada and the Netherlands.
