This pack covers every specific expectation in the Number strand of the 2020 Ontario Grade 4 math curriculum, B1.1 to B2.8, in the order a term usually runs. Each group of expectations starts with a one-page poster with a worked example. Practice pages and word problems follow. Students read and regroup numbers to 10,000, compare and round them, share pizzas fairly to compare fractions, count by fractions to 10, and work with decimal tenths. Then come the operations: properties and checking, facts to 10 × 10, mental math with tens, hundreds, thousands and tenths, four-digit addition and subtraction, multiplying and dividing by one digit, adding unit fractions and simple rates.
Several problems use real Canadian figures, and each one gives its source on the page: 2021 Census populations of Ontario towns from Statistics Canada, and July 2026 temperatures and rainfall at Toronto Pearson from Environment and Climate Change Canada. The practice pages are generated and checked by computer, so every answer in the key has been worked out twice. Word problems, the check-in and the test have a hand-written key that shows the working and a check for each answer.
The teacher notes give a ten-week order, timing, materials, differentiation, the common mistakes for each expectation, and a table that matches every expectation to its pages. Everything prints in black and white, and nothing depends on colour. The free sample is the teacher notes and the rounding practice page.
