Read this to the class:
Leo was walking to school on a sunny morning. Every time he looked down, a dark shape was right there beside him. He walked faster. It walked faster. He stopped. It stopped. "Why won't you go away?" Leo asked. The shadow didn't answer. Your job: help Leo find out why his shadow follows him, and see if you can ever get away from yours.
Children work in pairs. There are two jobs that swap halfway: the Mover tries to escape their shadow, and the Watcher watches the shadow closely and says what it does.
