How to use it
Type a title and your words, such as this week's spelling list or the key words from a lesson. Choose a grid from 10 by 10 up to 15 by 15 and which ways the words can run. New puzzle hides the words in a fresh grid every time. Tick Show answers to see where each word is, then switch it off before you print for the children. Print gives a clean black-and-white sheet with a name line and the word list.
Spaces and punctuation are dropped from words, so "ice cap" becomes ICECAP. Words too long for the grid are left out, and you'll be told.
Free to use, no account needed. It runs in your browser: nothing you type, and no sound from your microphone, is sent to Fieldbook.
